Keeping Vigil
Date: March 27, 2010
Director: Kathryn Cleary
It is said that "Our
lives are a keeping vigil, working at love in common living."
During our Lenten day of prayer, we will reflect upon Jesus' call
to keep vigil with Him during the mystery of His passion and death,
trusting that He keeps vigil with us throughout all the days of
our lives.
Sound Teaching for the Spiritually Hungry:
Counsels from St. John of the Cross
Date: April 17, 2010
Director:
Martha Campbell
If you are spiritually
hungry, intently seeking a God who seems to escape you, or longing
for freedom and wholeness, John of the Cross has something to say
to you. A poet, spiritual director, writer and mystic, perhaps,
John's greatest witness is to the transforming action of God when
we simply become open to receive God's love. In an atmosphere of
silence, this day of prayer will include input, time for reflection,
communal prayer and faith-sharing.
Breathe on Me,
