Ignatius of Loyola strongly
encouraged his brother Jesuits to pray the Examen twice daily
to cultivate their spiritual lives. Research on adult development
and aging is revealing that the cornerstones of the Examen: gratitude
and forgiveness are essential to living and aging well. This day
of reflection will afford you the opportunity to reflect and enhance
on these cornerstones to improve the quality of your life.
