A New England Province Jesuit,
Fr. William Ibach, S.J., is a consultant to the ecclesial ministry
institute of the Diocese of Marquette, Michigan. He has been involved
in retreat work and spiritual direction for over thirty years. Before
entering retreat ministry Bill served as a missionary in the Middle-East
for ten years and as a high school teacher at Cheverus High School
in Portland, Maine. For a number of years he was also a coordinator
for a residence of sisters priests and brothers who spend sabbatical
time at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge. Bill
offers both guided and individually directed retreats and makes
a point of connecting life's experiences with stories from sacred
Scripture and occasionally some modes of Celtic prayer.
