Director: Donna Fannon, MHSH
This “February-break” weekend retreat is designed for campus ministers, student development professionals, elementary, secondary and post-secondary educators, administrators, and coaches. We will practice using dynamics of Ignatian spirituality – especially spiritual discernment – as tools for work with our students in the classroom, on the field, across all campus activities. Special attention will be devoted to decisions related to faith and justice. With the “Principle and Foundation” from the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius as our guide, we will look at how we help students (and ourselves) to recognize and appreciate God’s gifts to us; and to reflect on how generous we are in sharing our gifts in order to do our part in the building of the Kingdom of God. We will engage in various forms of prayer during the three days including: guided meditation, the Examen, private prayer and reflection, journaling, and faith-sharing. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist will be offered during this retreat.
We’ve collected together commonly asked questions about our Retreats. We look forward to seeing you here at Campion Center.
