Ignatian Artists: The Art of Communicating Compassion
Campion Center Conference & Renewal is offering these Evenings of Prayer at no cost to participants. A high enough price has already been paid for this pandemic. Please join us for this six-Wednesday series that focuses on “The Art of Communicating Compassion,” in a world that is desperate for it. We will learn the value of centering ourselves through the use of deep breathing techniques. Once we have found a balance and have noticed what we are feeling, we will learn techniques to listen meaningfully to the one who is suffering. As we develop compassion, we learn how to use our words in a way to bring about greater understanding and compassion. The presentations will last 50 minutes, and then a creativity exercise will be assigned for the following session. A time for questions and comments will follow. No artistic ability is needed. We will do some simple exercises that will help you examine the world reflectively. We will meet the first and third Wednesday evenings from October through December. Registration includes all six evenings. Attend one or many! Send your email request to register for these Evenings of Prayer to: PredmoreeventFall2020@Campioncenter.org or call us at (781) 419-1337
