Paula Lawrence is a gerontological nurse clinician with extensive experience in the assessment of older persons with dementia and other acute and chronic health problems. Throughout the more than three decades she has invested in her career as clinician, manager and educator, Paula has continued to expand her knowledge in gerontology, assessment and care management.
Before accepting the position at Campion Health & Wellness, Paula Lawrence served as a geriatric nurse for the town of Weston’s Council on Aging and helped to develop the extensive 2018 survey to assess the health and social needs of its older residents. She also served as Director of Nursing for Senior Home Care Services in Morristown, New Jersey, and Wellness Coordinator for the Town of Concord’s Council on Aging.
Following her husband’s career progression in the sales of medical instruments, devices and appliances, Paula worked in a variety of clinical and managerial nursing positions in Utah, Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in the Gerontological Nurse Clinician program at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her nursing license, she also earned credentials as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Case Manager.
She and her husband now live in an historic house, which they are lovingly restoring as their permanent home, in the town of Framingham, Massachusetts.
